Yes, we have no reason to believe there will be a vaccine. In addition, it certainly appears that its severity may be declining, and hence we probably don't even need one. But the logic would appear to be that even if there were NO cases we will all still be required to wear masks and (of course) to get the mandatory vaccine.

Fauci constantly flip flops when or if there will be a vaccine and whether or not it will work. I’m not confident there will be a vaccine anytime soon, if ever. Nearly 40 years after the HIV/AIDS pandemic, there still isn’t a vaccine for that.
