Crypto currency tends to be... untraceable... used highly online if you want to get assasins, hitmans, illegal items, etc. Online. Also a preferred form of currency of malware/ransomware. Think about it. You want to buy kiddie porn/trafficking, you don't want payment tracked back to you.
Low point of $8949, down only $300- wouldnt call a plummet in this rollercoaster of the wild west market. Will be interesting to see however if it does drop back down to the low of $3'5k like we saw several months ago with the arrest however
