My TDS mom keeps bringing up how Trump's a child rapist or something, and I don't know enough about what happened to tell her she's wrong (because, obviously, if there was any real connection we NEVER would have stopped hearing about it from the mainstream media).
She keeps saying how years ago there was a lawsuit between Epstein and these girls, and the girls lawyer made a corrupt deal to keep Epstein from jail, then Trump hired that guy.
So how exactly do I tell her she's a moron? (in the most polite way possible, of course)
The damning connection is that Trump discovered that Epstein made sexual advances on the minor daughter of a Trump employee.
Trump banned Epstein from all Trump properties that day, and encouraged the father of the girl to press charges against Epstein. The father didn't want his daughter drug through the mud so he declined.
Years later, the police brought charges against Epstein for raping several other young women. The detectives in that case said that Trump was the only person who agreed to help them build a case against Epstein.
