As you can see in the video, he only needed to back up a few more inches to pull forward and leave, and he probably could have cut the turn and cleared the vehicle parked next to him even without backing up further. I'd rather deal with the legal ramifications of bumping someone blocking my vehicle than with what they are currently dealing with.
