This is just me, but I did not vote for Trump in 2016. I had voted Cruz in the primary and then Johnson in the general more as a protest vote than anything because I didn’t like Trump or Hillary at the time. There are still things I am not crazy about but dammit, the man fights for us. He won me over despite his flaws. I really hate the lesser of two evils argument, but it has really become crystal clear to me (and I’m sure many others) over the last 4 years that we are not even considered people to the other side and they want to remove republicans, conservatives, libertarians, and general independent thinkers by any means necessary.

I can tell you 100% that I am voting Trump, and my wife (who recently became a citizen) will also be voting Trump. My father voted for Trump in 2016, and I’m 100% sure he will vote for him again this year.

I hear ya dude, I had a revelation like that myself, I voted for Obama in 2012, I voted for bernie in the primaries, and Hilary for the Gen. I have always leaned economically to the left and socially to the right. I didn’t really start paying attention to trump until he said he was a nationalist. And the day he took that photo in front of the church with the Bible and said “you don’t burn churches in America” pretty much confirmed he was literally the greatest and most sane person who could have set foot in that office. After these four years I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever vote for the democrats or GOP ever again. I watched all three of the debates from 2016 over again and about 3 different documentaries about the 2016 elections. I regret not voting for him, I’m so fucking sick of the media. And I wish he could serve more than 8 years. He could do so much good.
