When I saw the video of Hannity interviewing the Dad, I cried. I also knew right then that Hannity's interview will get Trump to call the Dad. Glad he did, he's a good man. If people haven't watched it yet, I would recommend it. I think it was one of the first times I have watched a full Hannity 40 minute segment.

Powerful stuff. I understand Hannity is working, but it would've been nice if he clocked out for a bit and became a bit human in that interview rather than listen to his earpiece the majority of the time. That would have been more powerful. Because when Hannity tried to relate, it comes off very insincere.

It's easy to process the news of your son dying. It's good. Therapeutic. What's diffucult is realizing your son is dead and all the fucking baggage that comes with it. Seeing the future. Waking up to the future. The fear that comes from knowing the future. Fear because the future is tomorrow. The next second that you are in a world without your son. He wanted answers. Because wanting answers is Therapeutic. He wanted something to come out of it. The other guy loved America. It was literally a homerun for Hannity. All he needed was to be human.

I agree with you though I don’t know what I would have done either if I was the interviewer. It’s just so hard as I have never had the situation of losing a child. I also think the audio delay makes the situation a bit worse. I don’t think Hannity saw this coming either. Man when I saw the father start crying, it broke my heart and I almost had tears myself. Then when he mentioned how he didn’t even get to see his son’s body for a week and nobody From the city or police had contacted him till the interview, that made me furious. Such a sad situation.

I have had to knock on doors of homes to tell parents their son or daughter were gone. It was one of the worst parts of being a cop. Im about to weep just remembering a few of them while typing this.

It was one of Hannity's best segments ever because he had enough sense to shut the hell up and let the other guy talk.

Yeah when he broke down it got me. I’m not a crier but there was definitely some tearing.

Really appreciate you sharing your experience. It is unacceptable that this kid died. Tragic and horrific, the whole story. I stayed silent on all politics until this rioting and anarchy began. One death from it is too many. Sadly, he was not the only one. Call out the evil, and set a good example for those on the fence about these issues.
