I don't think many even care about children. Have you seen the amount of abortions and single moms? Family values need to be promoted in the culture, they need quality role models, not gangs filling the void. That would solve many inner city problems.
It is a damn shame to me that kids wanting to be successful are shamed by their peers as being "too white". I have seen it too many times. Success doesn't have a color. The victim mindset is poison.
I can remember a news story of a high school boy who was killed in Chicago after being harassed for years for doing well in school!! That shocked me. I had never heard of such a thing. Very sad.

It still has a major effect in radicalizing more people..

That’s pretty common. It escalating to killing someone’s not the norm, but anything they do to get out of the crab bucket results in them being pulled back down. Doing your HW and getting a job is made fun of as ‘acting white’. Not even joking. Been going on for a while. I knew plenty of upstanding black people growing up that had to deal with that. They said they had to decide whether they wanted to live a good life or ‘be true’ to the black community. They said they’d rather live a good life and give the toxic part of the black community the bird. Constantly made fun of growing up for doing it, but they now have jobs and didn’t go to jail, so there’s that.
Yeah, we used to talk about that crab in a bucket mentality for Mexican people also... my grandparents made a move to a better school district and their old “friends” were like “you think you’re better than us” etc. My grandma (born here after parents came legally) was so offended by that.
The strange thing is... I don't have the greatest memory but I remember sometime in 2016 during the earliest events of BLM and in association with someone else who died that they were trying to deify or turn into a martyr it was a young black lady that first said all lives matter who possibly may have been one of the bereaved family members or related.
None of my black friends do except they keep quiet because they don't want woke white people coming after them. Imagine that. White people telling black people what to do.
