This comment has been downvoted, but it is 100 percent correct.

You get in your car and go. You RUN from a confrontation before you pull your weapon. You do everything humanly in your power to remove yourself from a situation before it escalates. You only pull your weapon when you are ready to put holes in human beings to defend your life

Also, if someone is harassing you, just call the cops on your phone.

Then she got out of the car and brandished her weapon. This video does not clearly show whether or not she was truly in jeopardy. Blocking your vehicle is not automatically justification for deadly force. She should have STFU and GTFO.

This would have been a good case for pepper spray since now "protestors" are purposely trying to trigger non-blacks into pulling firearms and getting them doxxed and/or arrested. Sucks but in this day of mainstream BLM support you don't want to be a media target.

Yeah you just need to keep running. One day we'll run right off the cliff.

I hear what you're saying. Some states don't have the same laws. What a lot of people seem not to understnad is the fine line between confrontation and life-threatening situation. The kid in New Mexico who shot the Antifag was retreating and didn't brandish his weapon early. He used it once his life was demonstrably in danger. That's likely why he wasn't charged.

Agreed. I would add that in many states a self defense shoot requires that the shooter have done everything in their power to avoid the life threatening situation. A refusal to run from a confrontation doesn't demonstrate that to a jury.

I'm certainly not trusting my freedom to the judgment of a city DA. I don't know why anyone would.

I have to agree. We can’t see the other angle, but it’s not clear from this video that they were in actual jeopardy. Mean words and confrontation (no matter who started it) are not justification for deadly force.

A bullet is a LOT faster than the police. Like exponentially faster.

Yep. I completely agree.
