Friend, I'm not trying to talk you out of your optimism, but all the evidence I see points in the other direction.
Too many obviously guilty people skate because of their positions of power or membership in the favored minority while the little guy gets ground to dust by corrupt prosecutors and judges. I suppose it might be possible to reform the current system but it would be just as disruptive as hitting "reset" on our whole society.

On faith, in my experience: Took me 28 years to find God. Not a Christian God or a Hebrew God; you need to find God on your own terms imo. That is faith. (Though my God happens to be Christian/biblical)
You can take "faith" in a negative way if you want, personally understand it as the belief that there is something fundamentally redeemable about humanity that makes it worth the self-sacrifice to preserve it. I don't know if I believe that myself though.
This administration has had more arrests in this area than any previous administration. He's signed a few executive orders targeting the human trafficking trade as well. Of course, this would never get any media attention because why would it. Now that I'm thinking of it, I wonder how many of those arrests are related to illegal border crossings as well. That's distinction is not made in any of the reports I've seen from the past few years.

Also, let's not forget that Trump declared a National State of Emergency in 2018(?), citing corruption & human rights abuse as the threat to our national security, or something like that (My memory is fuzzy on the exact deets).
Along with that, he pretty much invoked some old law (again, fuzzy deets), which, during war time & under a National State of Emergency or some such (Note: We have been in a state of war since Congress declared it post-9/11, which Congress never officially "un-declared," and Trump already declared a State of National Emergency), grants him the power to control economic production & mobilize economic & military resources. i.e. He can authorize military tribunals & send resources to Gitmo to neutralize the threat to our national security, a.k.a. the corrupt swampers & pedophile rings, as cited in the declared State of Emergency... Or as you say, fast trials.
I guess I'm implying that route is very possible & not so far-fetched after all... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
