So this was awhile ago after the whole impeachment failed. My friend from california messaged me basically crying and going on a rant about the US was racist and how he was going to move out of the US to a country where he wouldn't have to worry about racism.

Now, guess where he wanted to move?

Japan.

You know, that country that is infamously xenophobic? The country that may like its tourists but hates foreigners moving in?

I told him 'Buddy....you do realize that the japanese hate outsiders right?"

HIs response 'Well thats only if you don't have any knowledge of their culture.'

"BUddy, I've been to Japan, I know a lot about their culture, and even then they still say they don't want foreigners moving into their country because they believe they'll end up losing their culture.'

"Well, thats not the only reason I want to go, I'm also a fan of anime and video games.'

"BUDDY, if you go over to Japan for that reason they might legitimately try to kill you, that is a huge insult to say japanese culture is just anime and games.'

"Well, I'm sure I would be fine, it would be better than dealing with the racism here.'

"BUddy, you're mexican.....if anything you're taking a higher risk.'

This went back and forth until he said 'I don't want to talk about this anymore.'
