I'm sorry but aren't these literally all clips from Trump's America? I feel like maybe this is a poor ad strategy. Not concern trolling maybe someone can explain what I'm missing.

Whoosh!! You serious?

The chaos segments are exactly what people have been seeing from all the Democrat run cities of “peaceful” “protestors”

(+)

The defund people are more of the same

= (They get their way)

Fucked up life for all of us and police answering machine just like that

was exactly like that for people dealing with CHAZ/CHOP

Red Forman: Dumbass!

Dude...who was president when all of that was happening?

The point of the ad is "this is what you will get with Biden". Except we are already getting that.

Look I just think it's a very backwards ad and I want Trump to succeed.

Ok ok I take my dumbass back

We need devils advocate all view points for proper strategies

Not trumps fault personal responsibility comes into play and guilt by association or closest to the source I would apply

Who’s state it happens in? Who’s city? Who runs such things?

The leader captain the de facto Who runs this shit person at the top is big daddy trump but he has everyone against him and it should be plenty clear to all

Yeah, I guess what they saying is everyone knows the people doing this are leftists and by and large have the support of the DNC. So imagine what it will be like when they people smashing and burning things are the ones in control

-10
EpicPede -10 points ago +1 / -11

I understand that but if those things are currently happening then the ad is a terrible look.

TonsOfSalt 4 points ago +5 / -1

Leftists are running around smashing up leftist cities run by leftist mayors, and this is a bad look for Trump? Get the fuck out of here.

The ad is a bad look in my opinion, yes. It claims that the scenes depicted would be the result of a biden presidency. Yet is uses clips that are literally filmed while Trump is president.

Normies will wonder what the difference is, If im already getting that BS in the streets.

Ok im with you on this.

Why? Nobody in the cities is voting for Trump anyway. It's a very simple calculus:

  • Vote for Trump who is against the violence, OR

  • Vote for Democrats, who create the violence.

This is what same people see.

-3
EpicPede -3 points ago +1 / -4

I guess I dont think normies will see it that way.

"aren't these literally all clips from Trump's America?"

I suspect they are all clips from areas that have proudly declared in the past three years "Trump's not My President."

-4
EpicPede -4 points ago +1 / -5

But Trump is their president.

SuperDuty4x4 3 points ago +3 / -0

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. Trump can do everything possible for all Americans (something Obama never did) but that doesn't mean prosperity on every street, the people have to step up and do their part. Trump could point out a guaranteed gold mine to some people and they'd complain about having to dig. That doesn't make their failure Trumps fault.

-2
EpicPede -2 points ago +1 / -3

Right, its in no way Trump's fault. I agree.

5
TheClassicalLiberal 5 points ago +6 / -1

This is not Trump's America. This is the America promoted by our universities and by our media and by all those who hate the concept of individual freedom.

You are not better or worse based on your class (as say the old-school Marxists) nor are you better or worse based on your race or gender (as say critical race theory socialists).

-7
EpicPede -7 points ago +1 / -8

wait...how are those clips not from Trump's America? who was president during those clips?

3
Salacious_B_Trump 3 points ago +4 / -1

The ad is specifically about defunding the police. Trump obviously is against that. Biden and his party are obviously for that.

-4
EpicPede -4 points ago +1 / -5

Biden is explicitly against defending police but I see your point.

"Trump's America" can have more than one meaning. You're taking the meaning of everything that happens while he is President.

By that token the Klan marches while Obama was president was Obama's America.

I don't go by that definition. A president's "America" is the vision he is pushing for.

The resist group is pushing for a big government, no wrong-think society. We disagree and are in a clash of ideas. For these protests to be part of Trump's America then we would have to say the Tea Party was Obama's.

-2
EpicPede -2 points ago +1 / -3

The Tea Party was part of Obamas America. A huge part of it.

yes

3
SuperDuty4x4 3 points ago +3 / -0

Trumps America? The parts of Trumps America that voted for Hillary and have been run by democrats for decades, and in some cases over 150 years. And you want to blame Trump?

-2
EpicPede -2 points ago +1 / -3

I would never blame Trump. What?
