It states that you don’t need to wear them if seated in restaurants, when eating and drinking in public, when in a swimming pool, lake or similar body of water (like an ocean?), when exercising in public (ie walking) and a safe distance from those not in your household.
The governor is just covering his azz and left enough wiggle room for folks to continue to do what we’ve been doing.
I'm sorry but no. This isn't "continuing doing what we've been doing", because I now am compelled to wear one of those muzzles to go into any store. Not when eating or drinking you say? Well that's common bloody sense because it's physically impossible. But what about when ordering and waiting for your food? What sort of screeching idiots are liable to call over to your table and nitpick the rules then? And Abbott set it to come into effect the day before Independence Day, like a real asshole. Is getting together with friends and family who don't live under your roof to watch fireworks included in those exemptions? No? I didn't think so.
