I'm sorry but no. This isn't "continuing doing what we've been doing", because I now am compelled to wear one of those muzzles to go into any store. Not when eating or drinking you say? Well that's common bloody sense because it's physically impossible. But what about when ordering and waiting for your food? What sort of screeching idiots are liable to call over to your table and nitpick the rules then? And Abbott set it to come into effect the day before Independence Day, like a real asshole. Is getting together with friends and family who don't live under your roof to watch fireworks included in those exemptions? No? I didn't think so.

If this order doesn't change a single thing for you, then congrats. Keep wearing your ineffective mask in stores. I'd rather breathe free air and not increase the CO2 and bacteria in my airway, thanks.

Which is completely stupid by the way. If you have to put them on when ordering, then take them off when eating, then put them back on when leaving... guess what? You just got your mask dirty and it is now worthless.

None of it makes sense from the get go. They’ve been throwing arbitrary rules all over and just watch to see what sticks on the wall. They gauge that from media reactions and Karen screeching on twatter or nextdoor.
