It’s about a false sense of security. The fact that masks are required but hand sanitizer before entering a store is not is everything you need to know about how BS this is. I can drive to the store picking my nose, rubbing my eyes, breathing all over my steering wheel and hands then put my mask on and be good to go as my germ infested hands touch food and handles and carts and shelves.
Then people touch the same things and get my germs on them and as they leave the store they touch their face as they are taking off the mask and get my germs right on their face.
I almost want to say masks help the virus spread. I almost never touch my face but when wearing a mask I constantly take it on and off and make adjustments or I get itches and everything I touched that had germs on it now transferred the germs to my face.
It’s very interesting indeed. Initial projections were way off (that much is a fact). Where I live, there were supposed to be 800 hospitalizations due to Covid by the end of April. There ended up being just 3 (with around 20 today). You bring that up to people and they go “well, masks and social distancing just work that good!”
When have humans EVER been this perfect in coordinating and executing such a grand scheme in every facet of society? People are fucking up and neglecting or breaking protocol every day. Every time I go to the grocery store I feel like I have to dodge at least 3 people who clearly don’t give a fuck about distancing. Now imagine that’s happening to thousands of people in my city in hundreds of grocery stores each and every day. How is it possible that there hasn’t been a single big breakout reported from this alone?
Just give it a few more days any CNN will come out against masks, since Trump said it's ok to wear them.
It does make you wonder why they’re pushing wearing masks so much...has to be bad for you since CNN is the opposite of truth
Its about control and fear. Thats all there is to it

So having trump recommend masks would be the fastest way to getting rid of them
