One of the interesting things in this study that isn't being widely popularized is that not only did the HCQ group have lower mortality than the group that received no treatment, but they were also significantly older, had more chronic lung disease, and were more acutely sick (were more likely to be in the ICU, spent longer in the ICU, were more likely to be intubated, and were on the vent longer). The deck was somewhat stacked against HCQ in this study (not purposely, that's just how the chips fall in a retrospective study), but HCQ still did better...
