"Because you'd be in jail."

I was a progressive my whole life, a Bernie or Buster. After they screwed him over, and then they killed Seth Rich, I knew I was voting for Trump, but I wasn't happy about it.

Then I decided to finally watch him speak. I tuned into a Florida 2A rally. And he scared the shit out of me with all his gun talk. But something strange happened. Over the course of the next few minutes, it occurred to me that everything he was saying was completely true. But we lived in an age where you weren't supposed to talk about it. As I watched, I became terrified for his life. I was so afraid they were going to JFK him right then and there on live TV. Because what he was saying was dangerous.

And THAT made me realize that what was wrong about this picture was that he could be JFK'd for saying things that are plainly true. And I realized who he was fighting. And I wanted to fight with him. He became my GEOTUS right then and there. And I remember thinking "I hope he is covered in kevlar. I hope he has kevlar socks and kevlar pajamas.... dear Lord, keep him safe."

GOD BLESS THE TIME TRAVELLER DR COWBOY GEOTUS VSG!!!!

I was a late to the Trump Train, for me it was the impeachment trial. If the establishment hates him that much to pull out the big guns against him he must be doing something right.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Aren't you a thousand times happier now? I feel like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders since I became MAGA.

When he said he'd put Hellery in jail. I knew at that moment he was going to say it like it is, instead of pissing on my leg and telling me it's raining.

I was already long won over by then, but I remember cheering and screaming and laughing at the screen with Alex Jones.

I hated Hilldawg SO MUCH that I couldn't watch her. Not for even a minute. I wondered how I was going to get through the debates if I couldn't stand to lay eyes on her. But Alex Jones was my life raft. He was screaming obscenities at her the whole time, and it made the entire debates bearable for me. I'm not the biggest Alex Jones fan, but I will always appreciate that he helped me get through the debates. That was such a great moment. And when the fly landed on her was also awesome.

The realization that Donald Trump could finish what started in 2008 with Ron Paul. I still wonder today how many Paulites are here.

I am one.

I wasn’t paying attention when Ron Paul was relevant, but his son is damn good in the senate. I almost want to move so I can vote for him.

His epic takedown of Me-Again Kelly with the Rosie O'donnell jab for good measure. That showed me he would say things that other candidates were too afraid to say and that he would vigorously attack any false state about him.

The moment he announced he was running. Always loved Donald Trump and knew he would Make America Great Again! A business man who knows how to run things efficiently, and one who already loves people and his Country, well, that is perfect!

were you an apprentice watcher? I was, I used to love that show, especially celebrity apprentice.

3
PaigeAshley 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes! I was a teenager during the celebrity Apprentice years, but loved watching it with my family sometimes. I'm planning to watch through it again to refresh my memory and bask in more POTUS speeches. :)

rooftoptendie [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

TPTB are trying to bury that show and keep it away from the public at large. It's not as easy to binge watch as it used to be. Those assholes. They know people would watch it and love him. Can't have that.

3
PaigeAshley 3 points ago +3 / -0

Aw dang...of course they would do something like that. I'll probably buy the dvds.

After hearing all about how racist and hateful towards immigrants he was, I listened to GEOTUS’ announcement speech for his candidacy. Not only was it not racist or anti-immigrant (illegals are illegitimate, change my mind), but I agreed with everything he was saying. Afterwards, I started watching rallies, still trying to find the mythical racism. Never could find any.

At first, the media were merely biased. Then they went full Goebbels. All the while, my support for the Donald has only increased. Who’d have thought that my half-black ass could be such a white supremacist?

I can’t remember the exact moment but I can remember hearing my father talk about Reagan. I can remember him talking about the feeling that there was a man in charge who wasn’t going to let another country scare us into submission. We weren’t going to have a nuclear war because there was a man they know would push the button if they pushed theirs. There was a man who made you feel represented not because you are a specific color but because you are an American.

For many of us we were Trump supporters before we knew he was our candidate because we already had these beliefs and shared these values, we just needed someone to come along again to represent us. It’s morning in America, you commie fucks, enjoy the sunrise and be free or you’re going to miss the next one.

I loved him from the start , because I had seen him on talk shows through the years and he always sounded so in love with our country.Saw him on Rona Berrit, Oprah , Larry king , he was so sincere. Also at the debates when Ben Carson missed his cue to come onstage and when POTUS name was called , he stood in the wings with Ben. Everyone else waltzed out to the stage shrugging. At the very end Trump and Carson's names were called again and they went out together.

That is so based!!!!! I knew you wuz kew, but I had no idea just how kew. Your an Original MAGAtarian. A Founding Father!

2
lavendarlady 2 points ago +2 / -0

Why thank you ....what is kew ?? I just might be . lol

2
rooftoptendie [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

kew is the proper pronunciation & spelling of the word formerly known as 'cool'. We've reappropriated a 'K' into it because K's are better than C's, and we have stricken the fascist and patronizing '-ool' in favor of the more socially feasible '-ew'. And if you have a problem with it, then you are a racist bigoted sexist who is not black, and you are cancelled.

I think i did that right...

3
lavendarlady 3 points ago +3 / -0

That made me laugh.. Yeah , it sounded right. I didn't dare hope that it meant cool. Nobody's called me that in 30 or 40 years. Thanks.

Executive Order 13771

5
rooftoptendie [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

"Reducing regulation and controlling regulatory costs" 2/3/2017

Nice, he finally won you over. Did he win you away from Camp Hilldawg or Camp Sanders, or neither one?

4
Recusant_Apparatchik 4 points ago +4 / -0

I don't live in a swing state, so I just threw away my vote to the "What is a 'leppo?'" guy. I went with Cruz in the primary and was bitter that Trump knocked out whom I thought was the last real conservative in the race.

I never disagreed with what Trump said during the campaign, but I thought he was just as phony as all his predecessors. It wasn't until that executive order that I realized that he was different. That he could actually make a difference.

4
rooftoptendie [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's pretty cool how things are now between GEOTUS and Cruz... It's like Cruz evolved into his final form!
