You're gonna roll up to their house and announce your presence
You're goddamn right. And nobody said anything about waiting 30 minutes to break the door down. There have been so many cases where things "look bad" and it turns out everything was totally innocuous, or in the case of CP they just had a computer virus and their computer was part of a botnet. If the government wants you to die, all they have to do is remotely plant CP on your pc and then claim they no-knocked you for the sake of "justice". Before you say that the government is infallible and would never do anything to plant evidence on someone, just look at all the cases where they did and were caught doing so. Just look at Ruby Ridge. Justice is not decided domestically by the executive branch, it is decided in the court of law.
100%. Cops work a dangerous job and they know that, cops that conduct raids know they're doing dangerous work and they made the conscious choice to be a part of that and invite the danger into their lives.
Who the fuck made the choice to get murdered by cops during a no knock because some needle dick at the courthouse mixed up the numbers on the address? "oh sorry we killed your family, we meant to get the house across the street!"
no knocks are the worst thing the police do because there can be no question that police make mistakes just like any other human beings but during no knocks those mistakes lead to innocent people dying. you can't tug at my heartstrings by saying "well the cops have families they want to go home to" when after they make a mistake the carnage left in their wake is just as bad.
