This could easily be done by making a true documentary of the 'native' indians showing all the rape and torture and pillaging and rampant sexually transmitted diseases that were not only common but a cultural practice. Same with the black slave trade. With the corrupted history people think slavery started with whites in america and lasted 400 years when it existed in africa for thousands of years before the white man even knew africa existed and the slave trade exists in africa to this very day. Hell the white man wasn't even looking for slaves when the dutch traders found africa. They wanted gold and spice and other goods and it was the black kings and tribal chiefs who offered up their own slaves for sale.

Today's descendants of native americans deserve to be dragged through the bad parts of their history as much as whites do - which is, of course, to say "not at all."
Anyone who doesn't know that slavery has existed since the dawn of civilization is a hopeless moron and all the educating in the world can't help them.
However, I do think the history books are too kind to the indian tribes. History lessons prefer to dwell on the interactions between indians and settlers and focus on the ways settlers wronged (or supposedly wronged) them. They rarely talk about how savage these tribes could be - and savage is exactly the word to describe the heinous acts of depravity that some of these tribes committed.
History teachers NEED to teach the whole accurate picture before people really start believing in the "revised" version.

I’ve been to mt Rushmore. As a climber there are TONS of climbable areas behind the monument itself...if anyone defaces this monument its purposeful and done by trained professionals. This isn’t some type of place you can walk up and deface. You need to know rappelling skills of the highest order to get where to heed to be to do so. And to get to that area is a task in and of it self.
