I hope that even though we don't know each other beyond this board, you feel comfort knowing that my family loves you and will pray for you to get to a place of more peace and acceptance. I'm truly sorry. I'm fortunate enough to still have my Father around, but I also know what it's like to lose loved ones (I've had to deal with it quite a bit over the years, since a young age). Just know that one day at a time things will eventually get better, the pain will always be there but it will become a bit less sharp and less frequent, you will laugh again, you will enjoy life again, and best of all you'll remember the great times together with fondness, reverence, and a renewed level of appreciation. You have our prayers and support, and don't hesitate to reach out, talk to people, and continue to honor his memory as you move forward. Know that he will never be forgotten, for so long as you speak his name he has never truly left this existence.
