Nah, it was originally called Denali. A lot of physical features in the U.S. are indigenous names....Mississippi River, etc...

Do not get me started! This made me nuts when it happened. The name should be restored, of course. If I am not mistaken, "Denali" translates as "The Great One" - so I will be a bit regretful that the peak will no longer be named after Mark Levin.
