I think that players and teams in basketball don’t have extended hot or cold streaks like other sports. This is totally an opinion piece that baseball good pitching and good hitting streaks can swing a series. Hockey sometimes has that with goalies who can make a big impact on the outcomes. Since the NBA is 5 on 5, the playoffs tend toward the better team winning. Hockey and Baseball have more cases of teams that click or get hot at the right time.
