I wish some patriotic lawyers would sue mayors, DA's, etc. who refuse to enforce laws they don't like. There must be some recourse the public can take...force the legislature to actually change the laws if they don't like them. Our gov't is broken because Democrats love to legislate from the bench.
I have been arguing for years that the right needs a legal advocacy organization. The left has dozens of these, for different causes. Immigrants, environmental lawyers, the ACLU... we don't seem to have any. Where are the lawyers defending freedom and Constitutional rights?
What I have in mind is an organization that would step in for egregious cases of leftist oppression, with a team of absolute terrifying honey badger lawyers. I want to see incontinence inducing fear just by the NAME of this organization getting involved in something. The left is getting away with unbelievable shit because nobody ever OPPOSES them. That needs to change. The legal front is a key part of the battle.

I went in to an HEB gas mart yesterday and told I had to put on my face diaper. I opened up my ball cap and pulled out my camo face cover that’s attached to it. The bitchy counter manager said that doesn’t count it has to be a mask. This is false it has to be a face cover which is what I had. They wouldn’t serve me so I walked out. The stores and businesses are the enforcement arm and if you need something, you have little recourse. They have the right to refuse service. I’m not worried about the cops enforcing masks in public. It’s the businesses who are being the cops now.
The irony is that masks not onLy don’t protect the wearer but they don’t stop the spread. It’s literally a useless inconvenience that these people are enforcing because they are on a power trip.
Seriously, consider that they don’t prevent your from spreading Chy-na virus, because it isn’t sealed nor filtered, and it doesn’t stop you from inhaling infected particles - because it isn’t sealed or filtered.
The Left is peddling fake science (again) to retain their privilege to arrest people on a whim.
I'm convinced they will have this happen every holiday beyond Christmas at this point. Next will be labor day, then even Halloween and Thanksgiving. The way I see it you should enjoy these holidays, especially the day the constitution was formed. If necessary, protests are still allowed and are planned for today in many states including Texas and California so you could always play the 1st amendment card which police seem to fear so much. Don't be afraid to take fine risks in a time when so much of what we do is already compliant and today they ask for even more. Don't expect them to give up the control the virus has given them over us. If anything the 4th is the ideal time to stick it to the government.

How about suing on the basis that cloth masks are just clothing, not PPE or medical devices, and therefore mask mandates are infringing on 1A?
I could think of a half a dozen good arguments just off the top of my head. This whole situation is just waiting to get sued to kingdom come.
