That's what I was just thinking. Couldn't they at least set up a bitcoin wallet that we can contribute to? If the opsec was tight enough, it doesn't seem to me that it would leave us exposed much at all.
What if, instead of donating to this site (and thank y'all for being smart and generous with your time) we donate for whomever we support to be elected (you know the guy) and just let people know we did (not the amount).
Nobody here minds paying for it but the price to run this thing is probably a couple k a year.. If the guys running this have regular jobs that's nothing.
Opening up to advertisements or donations just adds more possibility of problems; infighting, pressure from advertisers, legal issues, whatever.
They should def. keep it this way until the elections just to be sure.

Vanilla Visa. Buy a card and put a cash balance on it. Send the card number in a DM to the mods.
They can use the card cash anonymously. No one outside the loop knows about it.

I read here a little while back that they do have a means to fund this.
I would gladly pay monthly if it was voluntary and nothing changed.
