He also never said people should take disinfectants or anything along the lines of drinking bleach, he was talking about new therapies that disinfect your body.

An actual repertory therapist in my circle said they do lung therapy spraying stuff into people's lungs all the time

Most likely super diluted amounts of agents, on the factor of less than 1%. People were huffing fucking Lysol trying to 'cure' the WuFlu...

Correct. In a normal functioning media this would be understood as common sense.

I decided to actually look into this because you were so annoying, and I'm changing my tone.

LOOK FAGGOT NOW WILL YOU STFU

The OP is saying Trump advocated for it by saying it had a chance to be a real game changer and was shit on for it, and you're stuck on some stupid fucking semantics like a shill.

Don't hate on people for sharing facts. There is a substantive difference between outright promoting and saying it could be a game changer.

lion_streezus 2 points ago +3 / -1

He was vouching for it? What word makes your feelings not hurt?

Facts. Not Feelings.

The President brought the drug into public awareness and said it had a chance to be a game changer, and the media shit on him for it, and now there's an article saying he was correct. What are you disagreeing with? The guy you are defending is saying it was never promoted, but then what do you call that so we can be in agreement?

1
TonsOfSalt 1 point ago +1 / -0

We're probably already in agreement, but we just didn't do a good job clarifying our positions.

Trump promoted the possibility that it could be a game changer. He didn't literally promote it as a definitive cure. He was very clear about this and advocated for people to get advice from their doctors.

Trump haters conflated his hopeful position with one that asserted it as a definitive cure. That was never the case.

He said it "could" be one. That's all you're arguing like a blowhard.

You are arguing a minute fact as being more important than it is to the point of this post and sticking to it, for what reason? Is it making you feel superior or something? A normal person would just clarify and move on, but you're so stuck on people being dumb for calling it a game changer like that's at all important to the sequence of events, when it's not.

Ok, well you clarified for this public space so you can unbunch your panties about it. It might be a game changer for you.

He’s cautious with his words dude. He’s not a Dr. but he did in fact dangle it out there and was personally taking it him self. He knew it worked and so did every Dr out there knew it worked.

He took it for a while when someone in the administration tested positive. It's a prophylactic course that lasts a few weeks, which ended a while ago. He said he stopped taking it. Did he start taking it again?

1
TonsOfSalt 1 point ago +1 / -0

He knew it worked and so did every Dr out there knew it worked.

Caution yourself with this statement.

It's about risk/benefit. Some things aren't well vetted, but the known risks are negligible so it doesn't hurt to try something potentially beneficial even without RCT support.

What annoys me is the fact that they pretend he came up with this drug on his own or something. I'm sure a few people who actually know about drugs talked to him about it. Party of "science" yeah right.

The media should be sued for recklessly endangering peoples lives by promoting false medical advice and the politicians and bureaucrats that restricted the use of a cure and for making people wear masks should be sued for practicing medicine without a license. Lawsuits are the only thing they understand....it's the tool they would use against you....start with the ny gov, and california gov.

I'm with you on that....but consider this ...they're shutting down chaz because of a class action lawsuit......just complaining about something doesn't really change an injustice....nor does calling the cops,......you have to take them to court.....

This news could have been the perfect excuse for Trump to use to fire Fauci. Use it as proof of Fauci’s incompetence and negligence which provides Trump with a solid excuse to fire. Any media that then tries to stir up controversy over the firing then unwittingly helps to further promote and spread the news that HCQ works. It forces the media to choose between defending Fauci and spreading that Trump and HCQ were right or letting Fauci firing quietly pass. It’s a win win.

The old joke that if Trump had a cure for cancer practically came true.

Exactly right. On election night, the biggest problem one of the Young Turks had was "My God. I can't believe it. This means he's going to be in all the history books from now on."

So Trump's gambling paid off. He was fucking right. There's a reason why he's a billionaire. Let him do his thing, people. God damn.

Dude, one post will do, you're kind of distracting from the point. Plus, you're wrong and he did, so eat dirt, loser.
