You could say the same for the flu vaccine, a vaccine engineered to treat the flu has yet to be proven effective against a new strain until it passes the trials, even if they aren't necessary. You can see now why he stated that HCQ was dangerous, to prevent the trials from ever taking place. That on the other hand should be looked at, what evidence convinced them HCQ was too dangerous to administer to patients and what preexisting evidence against that decision was justifiably overruled. Or wasn't....

there is a reason he is in this position. Trump knows he was a hillary stooge who's also been bought by bill gates so when he put him there you know he had a purpose behind it. if im not mistaken he could get rid of him at any time so there's surely a reason he's still there and its obviously not competence or integrity. im anxious to see what the purpose of Fauci is.
The purpose is that Fauci will go along with whatever the president wants to do with regard to the pandemic to try to get elected in November. The president is well aware of that Fauci contracted the research being performed with gain-of-function coronaviruses from horseshoe bats, all paid for with US taxpayer NIH dollars. He's guilty as sin, but useful for the time being. After the election, Fauci is gone.
Same laws protecting civil servants that err on the job likely also protect him. It would be nice to have a big moment where everybody sees through this brain washing and just up and quits with the baroque mask wearing shutdown nonsense.
