Bury the left's "race card" for good.

False racism costs way too many Americans their reputation, career, and money - while the perpetrators get away with what amounts to criminal libel and reputational vandalism. This needs to stop.

GOP needs to set up a law that clearly and narrowly defines "racism". This means any accusations of "racism" that aren't backed up by one of the points spelled out in the law would be automatically be considered fake and therefore punishable.

General rules:

Any allegation of racism must be backed up by hard evidence. Calling someone a racist without providing proof will automatically be considered a violation of the law.

TV and Cable (broadcast media), plus major online news outlet publications:

All "racism" allegations must be meticulously proven and vetted. Willfully running unproven racism allegations will be grounds for revoking broadcast licenses or seizing online domains in question.

In the case of "accidental" false accusations followed by retraction, the network in question will be required to self-shame each hour for at least a week, making it clear in no uncertain terms that an accusation was false and retracted. The names of every journalist involved in "accidental" false accusation will be listed on the shame-message. Additionally, the network will have to pay damages to whoever was falsely accused.

Journalists who habitually false-accuse people of "racism" will be banned from journalism. Any network which knowingly hires a banned journalist will be shut down until the offending journalist is removed. No exceptions.

Social media rules:

All social media networks would be required to hide and review racism allegations posted on a "false until proven true" basis. Add a button to report racism allegations which will automatically hide the post in question until reviewed by a human moderator.

After review, the post may be unhidden if the allegations are found to be true. Unfounded accusation posts without a reference to solid proof will never be approved.

Social media networks that willfully allow false racism accusations will be held criminally and civilly liable. This means they will be fined and ordered to pay compensation to the damaged party. Civil damages will depend on how many users the social network has; larger social networks reach more people and therefore can cause more damage, so the penalty payouts are larger.

Retractions of false accusation must appear in a conspicuous place in search results for at least a week to clear the name of the falsely accused in no uncertain terms.

Punishments:

False accusations of racism would be considered a misdemeanor offense, at minimum. Penalty would typically be a fine with most of the proceeds paid out to the plaintiff; repeat offenses will result in a jail sentence.

False racism accusations that cause reputational damage valued over $1000, property damage valued over $1000, suspension/loss of job, suspension/loss of contract ("gig economy" work), or suspension/loss of any license would be prosecuted as a felony offense.

Anyone convicted of false racism accusation would be banned from working in journalism for a set period of time depending on the severity and number of previous convictions. Habitually egregious offenders will be ordered to refrain from engaging in journalism for life.

The GOP should be salivating at the prospects.

You know how many Republican politicians self-censor and tiptoe around the political establishment out of fear of the #FakeNews media calling them "racist", which basically makes it impossible to win?

This law would give them a chance to fight back against the #FakeNews.

FakeNews falsely accuses you of "racism" while you're campaigning? They lose their online news domain and broadcast license if it was willful at the network level. At the bare minimum, a #FakeJournalist goes to jail and pays you civil damages in line with the law.

They should, but THEY have a serious problem. They could be an immensely powerful and popular party known for helping the US go from strength to strength, but the don't, most likely because they're just as caught up in the back room deals and selling out of America. They don't calculate the future, they calculate their current cosiness. For example, they always push shit like this:

https://news.bitcoin.com/lawful-access-to-encrypted-data-act-backdoor/

instead of insisting on protecting 4th amendment rights. The old stooges in the Senate are just as likely to use "muh terrorism" (but not leftist, domestic) to create an excuse to infringe on our rights. They wholeheartedly participate in the fear/division tactics to disenfranchise us from a golden future, when they could so easily make moves to be considered great men, as you've suggested.

There needs to be a degree of breaking the political systems back before I think they'll momentarily relinquish their own selfish pursuits and work for the glory of our nation. I don't think it's hopeless, I just think it's a lot of work and the pressure needs to be kept on these suckers. We need more politically informed voters and less of a reliance on left/right paradigm, party affiliation, etc.

Trump is good because he listens, the GOP sucks because they don't.
