I sniggered when I read this. It'd be easier to dance a super complicated Irish jig than reprogram all this. I bet this spooks programmers to no end. I'd rather wear a coon-skin cap and go be Davy Crockett for the rest of my life than deal with this shit on my IT systems.

LOL...but are you allowed to say "coon skin"?

Davy Crockett famously wore a cap made of raccoon skin. Is there some other connotation to that? If so I'm not aware of it.

Yes, we know. But people are so nervous, they don't even call raccoons "coons" anymore because OFFENDED. No idea what they're calling coon hounds. As Trump said, a small group of people are trying to alter and destroy our language.

Personally I think anyone who feels moved to use a racial slur should go ahead and let it fly. The left would use them far more often than we would. Black leftists would constantly call us "crackas" and "peckerwoods" and various other hilarious ebonics phrases. Hell they already do in a lot of places.

Back in the 70s there was an actual joke asking how brave you are, and one of the questions was, "Do you have the courage to use the word 'niggardly' in front of a large, illiterate Negro?"
