god forbid someone plays a game after work with some friends. I'm not even a gamer, I own no consoles or anything, and my salary is north of 6 figures... so this isnt me defending a group im part of. but you're just being a dick with that comment.

I've lived in both the country and city, and honestly it's nice to not have to drive 20 minutes to pick up groceries, the internet is better in the city, more things to do, and crime is basically non-existent, since even 100x basically nothing is still basically nothing.
Get a job. Accumulate money. Buy some land and build a house. Step outside and landscape. Do this all in real life instead of a video game.
