I don’t think they’ll succumb to the reality until something worse than this happens to them or someone they love. Same with their “democratic socialism”. They really might feel safe because there are people like that mini-driving bad ass...
They’re like my little dog. She’ll sometimes boldly jump from a high place, trusting that I won’t let her hit the ground. She’s been damn lucky so far. If she continues, there’s only so much I can do & she’s going to regret the day she overestimates my ability to save her stupid ass. I hope that day never comes. I’ll always try to catch her, but there’s only so much I can do to counter that level of bold craziness.
