.....as a contractor, I cannot be considered for any local, state, or federal contract until it has been offered to, and turned down by, all interested minority contractors. I've been told this to my face. I feel so privileged.

When submitting my resume I cringe selecting my ethnicity. Knowing it won’t help, but most likely exclude me.
Anytime there's a "choose not to identify" or whatever, I pick that. Or choose African American. Let them question you on it and then you can raise hell :)
We should all choose "black" there no way to prove you aren't. No company is going to risk calling someone "not black"
