God intended for mankind to separate, to spread out. He cursed us by confounding out languages specifically because we disobeyed him and tried to build a city when we should have been building homes in distant parts of the world.

Languages continue to change, and the confounding of our languages is still happening today, thousands and thousands of years later.

God does not intend for us to become a monoculture, unless that culture is HIS culture. He will not allow humanity to become one race. We are supposed to identify with our kin and neighbors and share a unique identity.
