Trump and Biden aren't on the ballot yet. But the rep/dems are. He just needs to win the nomination of a party that is on the ballot like the Green Party. Donate a sizable sum and some parties would give it. Plus they would get federal funds in the future if he does well enough.
The Green Party already had their primaries and have chosen a presumptive nominee. So have most established parties, they take elections seriously and campaign to their base for months.
It’s possible, but established third parties are not going to just pick a Kayne for LOLs or for money.
And he still has to file with the FEC and hire a huge campaign staff. Running for President is not simple.
