Yes! Same here in central FL. Maybe everyone was just responsibly destroying their tools of oppression after the recent revelation that 7/4 is racist/whatever....yea that must be it. KAG
It was near nonstop here from about 3 in the afternoon until about 10:45. From 5 - 8 it was just wild, tons of big bursting shells, ones that made cool noises, lots of big reports, it was fantastic. Everywhere around us people were out having a great time lighting fireworks, some grilling also.
Our supply lasted just a bit short of 2 hours, what a spectacular day.
I’m happy for all of you. Not much happening outside of Seattle in the suburbs. Occasional bursts of sound, but overall, a fairly dull 4th.
It is So good to hear of celebrations in other places!
Next year, hoping to live in a different state.
Oh that's never been a problem: we've got plenty - we have the indian reservations. It's the people here - bending the knee in compliance to any "order".
Same here in Jacksonville Florida
Same. My neighborhood of homeowners all bought the BIG fireworks
Same, largest I've heard in many years. It used to be "oh I'm an adult, just some fireworks". Now it feels more passionate.
Two nights in a row here in Kentucky! Plus, our city went ahead with their firework display! It was great! Not a mask in sight!
Oh man. Me too!!!! Best 4th ever!

Yakima is lit up. Sounds like battle, sounds like freedom.

Same here, never saw so many neighborhood fireworks in my life and I'm in my 60's. Was awesome!
