Yep.

The rest of Tennessee wants nothing to do with this corrupt craphole.

Let it burn.

I'd rather folks wake up and take it back.

That's not going to happen until it gets so ridiculous that even the biggest leftist cannot argue commie policies work.

I think this could be the ridiculousness threshold.

"It City" status for several years has been a curse to us rare locals. Dem mayors since I was old enough to vote doesn't help. I am not without hope, however much the current status breaks my heart. Amen to that landslide!

Coming on the back of a 17% increase last year, it's worse.

Someone has to pay for all the damage the peaceful protestors did. Congratulations honest taxpayers!

Murfreesboro is pretty cucked with MTSU, but at least they didn't look for any excuse, and actually had a fireworks show last night.

I would love this recall to go through so we can get Dr. Carol Swain in there! I have no source on this, but I suspect Cooper only ran because Dr. Swain had so much momentum in the prior special. Light, shine in dark places and let righteousness lead to justice in my city!

Nothing pisses middle aged or older men of generally Republican orientation off more than their taxes being too high (and justifiably pisses them off of course). But if I am to judge by the conservative dads of some of my friends growing up, THIS is the one issue that would inspire them to take up arms and hit the streets! They might be never trumpers but they’ll change course on a dime when they hear about this shit.

There isn't going to be anyone in Nashville to tax soon. They think they have a captive audience there because of the music industry but the rest of Tennessee aint that far away and its a lot cheaper.

Some of the demographic shifts in Nashville already put it on a fatal trajectory years ago. We are just seeing it come to bear.

My town wants 1.2 million MORE for 2 schools that arent open and are filled w illegal children n children born here of illegal parents. I am requesting all enrollment info for both schools, tour of both schools and a look at their curriculum especially when it comes to world and American history. I requested a copy of the books they use! My school business admin is gonna be busy! I've been haunting him since I found out about budget increase 2 months ago! 😆

Uh oh, not enough people are buying property. Better raise taxes to encourage them.

I visited Nashville and fell in love with it. If I had the financial means and independence capabilities, it would be near the top of my relocation list along with Denver, DC & Boston (Florida would be on it except I hate heat/humidity and I don’t know how Bible-Belty it is).

Nashville is the buckle of the Bible Belt.

How are things for LGBTQ Christian pedes in Nashville (especially the T in the alphabet)?

I love how prosperous Nashville is but I’m not sure if it’s a cultural fit and it would not be an escape from the southeastern heat + humidity combination.

You are right about the heat and humidity here. I honestly can't speak to the question of T Christians.
