Funny. I live in Rochester and Uber on the side for spending cash, and around January I picked up numerous Chinese students coming home from China. Rochester has numerous top tier colleges that attract Chinese students, and around February I had all the symptoms of COVID-19. Including a dry cough that just eased up last month.
Also, during that time I picked up an Asian passanger that barely spoke English and claimed he was from Philadelphia. During the ride he was coughing and sniffling, clearly sick. After I dropped him off he came to my driver's side window and in so many words pleaded me to come back in an hour to give him a ride home, a half an hour away, and he claims he would pay me cash when he arrived home. I declined and during this interaction he continued to cough and sniffle. Now, reading this, it wouldn't surprise me if he was some sort of sent operative who was looking for longer exposure time to me.
