I identify as a free speech extremist, I essentially believe free speech should cover everyone both legally and financially, essentially cancel culture should be illegal, and before a liberal chimes in with "hurr durr freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences" well dammit it should, not just for the right but for the left as well. I essentially believe all speech should be 100% protected as long as you are not credibly threatening someone (IE, death threats, rape threats, serious slander, etc). That being said, what the media did with the Russia story was evil. They lied their asses off to overthrow a fairly elected president and tried to start World War 3 all because of their inability to handle losing. They tried to destroy a country and covered it under the basis of "journalism". I don't think we should send them to jail as that would go against my belief of all speech being protected, but if Twitter goes out of their way to label memes as "fake news" and 9/11 truthers s as 'conspiracy theories', then maybe they need to for the MSM as well. Essentially make MSNBC and CNN legally have in the top right corner "We are a conspiracy theory channel" or "These are opinions not facts".
