No, there were far more good memes there not making fun of Christianity in anyway. Most just making reference to a story or verse. What you saw was shit posted by atheists who hate religion and brigaded, because that's what those types do. That sub was based and is a casualty just like r/murica
It's supposedly to sanitize the sub after it got really political from the BLM protests. Another claim is that it's due to an alt-right user getting banned from there and r/Christianity so some people reacted by lashing out and spamming the sub.
There's some post in r/OutoftheLoop, r/ChristianMemes, and r/CatholicMemes that can be found through a google search.
And as much as I liked the sub, it was more left-leaning and tended to poke fun at Christianity more than anything. It didn't fit the bill like other subs to get the ban hammer. The most similar sub that was actually banned was r/protestantnonsense, which was a meme sub for Catholics and Orthodox to poke fun at the crazier side of Protestantism.

DankChristianMemes.win when?
And on the 8th day, God said "Fuck yeah, this".
Wait what. For what?
Probably because the chicoms want to ban Christianity ...
Edit: or the dank crusader memes
