Both ruger can use glock mags with the included insert. However the 9 is more reliable than the .40 at least for many users. Extended glock 22 mags on the .40 have a tendency to jam on the last few rounds but the 15's work great. This seems to be a manufacturing issue as many of the .40 work just as well as the 9 on extended mags. If people wonder why you would want a pistol caliber rifle its for stopping power and cheapness of ammo. Haven't seen the numbers on the .40 but the 9 shooting out of a 16" barrel will give it the kinetic energy of a .357 out of a 4" pistol. I would imagine the gains would be even larger for .40.

Honestly I think the feeding issue comes from the ungodly tight springs they used. The few mags I initially bought are no longer giving me any issues, been storing them fully loaded. Brand new mag I had with me today caught 3 bullets.
