Good. Now we can lower property taxes.

You kidding? They’re gonna skyrocket to pay for the unemployment

-You fund schools with your taxpayer dollars.

-This means there will be less need for schools.

-Therefore we will raise your taxes.

Sounds about right for democrats. Or the GOP, really. Either or.

How about we get rid of property taxes?

4
ComradeSanders 4 points ago +4 / -0

Why? I love paying the government rent to live on the property I already paid for.

residue69 4 points ago +6 / -2

That's not how taxes work.

It looks like it'll be high contrast.

Red-pilled homeschooled children;

Blue-pilled Commy-School Dragqueen-Storytime 2-Father or 2-Mother victim children.

therell only be children that accept reality and act accordingly.

and basically rioters.

22
RocketSurgeon22 22 points ago +22 / -0

So you have to register your child for homeschool?

22
ShitComment 22 points ago +22 / -0

Yes, the rules vary between states. Some states are harder to homeschool in.

It's a commitment that most can't afford to make, and not everyone is capable of doing, even if they can afford it. The current school structure is one w/ roots in the industrial era, where parents dropped off their kids so they could slave away all day. The same applies today in many ways.

Then people move to free states, the blue states lose electoral votes and seats in Congress. We win, stack the house, stack the courts, set federal laws in our favor and steer the course of history. Play to win.

California, for example, requires you follow their curriculum. So you still have to teach your 8 year old how to masturbate and do anal play.

Is that why the state sent me a video of Gavin Newsome?

Parents are legally required to have their children attend a school. In North Carolina you file an intent to home school your child (along with other paperwork) so the state knows why your kid is not in public school anymore.

It is a lot less onerous than most liberal states who are very opposed to parents home schooling their children.

Is there a due date? I was not aware of this and have plans to do homeschool. Thank you for this info.

It varies by state, so you'll need to look things up for yours. Some make it easy, others make it ridiculously labyrinthine.

2
Tenpat 2 points ago +2 / -0

It varies by state. Looking at North Carolina DoE site you can file between July and April.

Also there are many "home schools" that are essentially the old model of a bunch of parents hiring a few teachers for just their children. It is possible to join these groups and be part of an existing "home school" though I think they are categorized as private schools since they consist of more than a few families.

Usually the child is taught math, science, and languages by the teachers and parents are expected to cover other pieces. It varies by the organization and state rules.

Need to have Holodomor history month for homeschoolers

This.

Kids need to be taught the damage Communism causes.

My wife and I are STRONGLY considering it for our kids. Same with many of our friends, many of whom used to be left/apolitical and now are creeping right. This is in blue California. The left pushed to far. We don't want anti Americanism and blowjobs being taught to our kids

5
splink 5 points ago +5 / -0

There's a lot more resources available to homeschoolers now, there's co-ops with group classes, sports, even proms. Totally recommend this.

That's awesome so many people are going for it. I was homeschooled after me and my bro began complaining to our mother about the fiction teachers were passing off as fact. Growing up in church helped us to know at a young age when something wasn't true. I was also able to dodge several of the stupid vaccines they require at certain ages. I take pride in being rogue, lol.

I don't know how the rest of the schools in the state are, but in Charlotte the public schools are terrible. Basically everyone moves to the city young, gets pregnant, hangs out for four years, and then moves to the suburbs when it's time to start kindergarten.

Problem is they've gotten so bad, that they're starting to implement 'busing' again. You can't get away from the problem if you want to.
