Don’t know much about the man but if you’d told me even five years ago Kayne West would turn into a Christian conservative Trump voter I’d have a hard time picturing it. Supposedly there’s more conservatives in the entertainment industry than we realize but they’re afraid to speak their minds.
I mean an actual Christ follower, not in a cultural Christian sense. It’s great to believe but the bible says even the demons believe and they tremble. Repentance is an Important component to faith.
Dwight Schultz (Murdock from The A-Team and Barclay from Star Trek: The Next Generation) was for the longest time one of those closet conservatives. I heard him a few times back when Savage still had a radio show and Schultz would guest host. He didn't expound much on his experiences, but I do remember him mentioning about having to hide in a bathroom with a small transistor radio just so he could listen to conservative talk radio without outing himself.
Kanye represents the anti-globalist celebrities. People who made their fortunes off of talent and connections without compromising integrity (regardless of what you personally think of him).
He has the opportunity to reclaim the arts and prove to our youth that you don't have to be an left wing ideologue to express yourself.
I think he's going to run and then drop out and endorse POTUS.
