I never read any of her books and only saw the first movie but if leftists are trying to cancel her she must be over the target.

Its weird too because they were claiming her as one of "theirs" before she dared to speak her mind on an issue. That's why the left is as wrong as wrong can be - its too damn stressful trying to walk the line. I'd rather be free and be able to speak my mind and filter in and out what I want to hear and not.

That was a good read. Thanks! Actually provides an interesting approach to waking people up.

Yup. The best way I’ve heard it described is: “you don’t want to be the current face of the left. In a few years their ideas will have shifted and you’ll be cancelled for the ideas you hold now.” It’s like Tucker was saying a few weeks ago: “what will the mob demand next?”

You're not missing much, to be honest. I don't like the Harry Potter movies, and I hold the books, while not bad, amount to the most overrated fantasy series of all time. The whole series kinda rode the success of the strong first three books. As a whole, the series doesn't have the same world building Lord of the Rings has, the complex and endearing characters Wheel of Time has, or the interesting villains (one of who makes Voldemort look like a freaking saint) the Malazan Book of the Fallen series has.

However, I will say Harry Potter is probably the best series for newcomers to the fantasy genre. It keeps things centered around a short span of time and a small group of people, which makes for an easy read. Because you don't have to keep track of around seven hundred named characters like you do in Malazan, which is probably the most complex and difficult series to tackle.
