As a black woman surrounded by liberals I've never felt able to speak out without being completely alienated by friends, as I don't see politics as something worthy of making-or-breaking friendships. Hell, I didn't even vote last year.
But going through these posts has made me feel more connected to America and why we need to protect it from this attack on liberties and freedom worldwide. We need to be reminded of our responsibility to our country, as well as to ourselves.
See you at the polls!
Welcome aboard. Politics are so out of hand, it's ridiculous right now. It has alienated me from some friends and even family. It's a downright toxic environment, where everything you say, every choice you make is measured against a narrative/agenda. We are all battling the cultural Marxism mentality. The left wants to balkanize and compartmentalize and feed these identities to pit one against another. They fear actual unity. They'll lose their "pets" that keep them in power, as peoe see through their bullshit. It's up to all of us to preserve the republic.
