I think the best analogy I have heard about wearing a cloth mask to protect yourself or someone else from the China flu is comparing wearing the mask for protection against covid to building a cyclone fence to protect you from mosquitoes. This virus is so small that only a level A fully contained suit would protect someone.
I live in CT. Masks are required almost everywhere. My objection is that the governor has no right to mandate this. Such a demand needs to come from the House and pass as a law, then signed. Then challenged in the courts. Etc.
I’m sick of edicts.
Masks in CT have become a sign of decorum and good manners. That’s fine. But not wearing one has become a sign of stupidity and malicious selfishness. That’s not fine. The mask wearing tribe needs to understand the reasons the no-mask group complains. Listen. Learn.
The same people who tried to shame small business owners for simply wanting to open, are the same people labeling people refusing to wear a mask as idiots and nasties. The same people demanding gun control. The same people demanding a whole slew of authoritarianism. The mask “laws” however aren’t even laws. Enough is enough.
I didn't have to wear one the whole time throughout the shutdown. They actually told us that wearing masks during the shutdown was bad because the kungflu could survive on masks, but only now is wearing a mask okay. Yeah, no i'm not wearing a mask.
No thanks. You wear one, not me.
I need to use the right pronouns because of others
I need to use masks because of others
I need to buy health insurance because of others
I accept responsibility for a pet. I do not accept responsibility for total strangers.
False equivalence.
No.

True, he won't. https://youtu.be/bE2dehSE6QA
“Put your mask on to enter the restaurant”
<Get seated, take mask off for duration of meal>
“Put your mask on to leave the restaurant”
It’s pure theatrical bullshit.
