Eww, don't link directly to Politico. I probably just made them like 5 cents.

If POLITICO is reporting this about Biden, the DNC is completely done with him.

There is a SMALL chance they're putting this out to get ahead of it, but I doubt it.

What is the play here?

It's next to Epstein's island?

I agree. IMO This is one of two things: 1. planned shitcanning of Biden to be replaced or 2. a power grab by someone within the DNC network that knows they can do better.

Honestly, I am surprised there hasn’t been more Dem infighting like this.

Ghislaine Maxwell had submersibe operators licenses. There is speculation that they were moving children underwater, undetected.

Stories like this do NOT come out of the blue.

Something is happening.

It's even worse than that! It's a link THRU GOOGLE to politico, basically telling google "Hey! I'm gonna read this article and I'm coming from this site. "

TDW really needs to ban google.com/amp/ links -- anyone got a moderator's ear?

While you're at it - if they'd choose a brighter red or white we could READ where it's linking to at a glance without clicking to shit sources by accident. The smaller your type - the brighter it needs to be (if you're in dark mode particularly)

You know what's be really neat? If the site auto archive converted all links.

I'm in favor of a comment bot that replies to every post with an archive link. I think having the direct URL does serve a few good purposes.

Something like a "Weekly Feedback / Suggestions" thread would be really nice, to get all these ideas in one place.

Daily Mail is linked here a zillion times a day drives me nuts.

I hear ya. It would be nice to filter out links or keywords ourselves via Settings, or some kind of browser extension.

It does beg the question why Politico is now running pieces critical of Biden - are they getting ready to replace him at the convention?

(just noticed it's from Jan - before the DNC decided to 'corona(te)-19' Biden.

I'm getting kind of sick of people linking old stuff on here and not saying anything about it being old.

MehNahMehNah 1 point ago +1 / -0

So, someone may be scratching their head why old articles are getting clicks...

4
EagleI 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's coming back up now with new implications because of Ghislaine Maxwell's arrest.

2
AtariArtist 2 points ago +2 / -0

it's an old link to. That IS an old article. even the update is old.

On one hand ya, but on the other we drive more traffic to an article it becomes more popular.

If Google isn't manually fudging the algorithms, we could potentially get normie eyes on it like this. When a mainstream outlet engages in a random act of journalism, they should be rewarded for actually doing their jobs.

Archive the rage-bait, the race-bait, the leftist-fawning garbage.

Archiving this article maintains it if Politico decides to nuke it or stealth edit, but otherwise it's better to use the live link.

If there's actual money on offer for engaging in actual journalism, you just might see an increase in supply.

And it wasn't just that. It was a Google Amp link. It goes through Google first.
