In a sense, it is kind of a mental disease though, not physiological in nature.The bad ideas and philosophy can spread through the susceptible, and it can ruin lives.
I call it ideology of the brain, and the actual strain of ideology doesn't matter, the symptoms are always the same.
But even though it kind of acts like a disease, a mind virus, I'm not sure we can call it an actual illness. Although I'm starting to think this might be the right approach in terms of dealing with it.
