And after Reddit, she went to tech companies to preach about the dangers of "incel virgin nerds" (read: the genius tech geeks doing actual work in the tech field) being "rapist nazi trumpers" and that they had to track their potential lack of sexual activity to fire them all because if so they'd be time bombs like the Rodge.

I like the theory that she went to reddit to promote all the shitty changes spez didn't want to do and be the unpopular face. Then of course spez the cannibal never retracted any of it and build on it and the dummies at reddit lauded him for ending Pao reign of censorship and banning subreddits

Pao was a phenomenal interim CEO for Reddit. She came, implemented a bunch of extremely unpopular policies that reddit had been wanting to for some time, and then left. Everyone was so happy to see her gone nobody cared about the policies anymore

I mean you start off by saying you don't quite believe the theory but everything you said after supports the theory. She comes in, reddit makes big algo changes and entices big companies to shill for ads, and then she leaves, taking all the blame with her. Nothing went back to the way it was after she left.

Also I disagree that the site ever resembled T_D, that place was very special from the outset. You would see honest comments sometimes, but the site always held a left slant. It just accelerated when bad actors realized that many people were using reddit as a main source of information that the leftism accelerated
