Caving on /r/jailbait was the top of the slippery slope that got Reddit into the hellscape it is today. Hold your ground against performative outrage mobs, moral panics and media sharks, or you belong to them forever.

No. No it wasn’t.

We are against censorship. We are not pro-illegal activity. There is a huge difference between banning a /r/jailbait, and banning subs like /r/fatpeoplehate and /r/watchpeopledie. The latter two were banned because people found them offensive, /r/jailbait was banned because it was illegal.
