Someone I was discussing social security with refused to acknowledge it's unsustainable because, according to him, if government keeps injecting funding, that's "sustainable." I tried to explain hoping that government bails out a program isn't a good personal finance strategy, even if it works out, and he wouldn't even agree with that. He got pretty close to calling me a conspiracy theorist because I'm not including social security in my retirement plans.
It really made me question why I bother discussing anything even remotely "political" with friends, and have since mostly stopped.
ya sometimes I envy you "loud" Americans for having guns, it seems to be something very therapeutic to unload onto a burlap sack or whatever kinda like masturbation but with less regret and dirty socks.
I just hope that the border opens up so I can go down south to get a taste of them ranges and visit a Trump rally not so much for Trump (maybe a lil bit for Trump) but more so for the intensely American patriotism and the fact that they are entertaining as hell.
Also we got the MUHCERB people here sucking on every last ounce of the governments tit. Milking hard working taxpayers' money until the next election when more promises of injecting more magic funds in order to keep giving freebies to everyone.

I can’t speak for others, but currently I shoot for sport because it’s fun, rather than as some sort of emotional catharsis. Occasionally I hunt for food and sport although less in the last few years.
Shooting has been included in every Olympics since the dawn of the modern Olympics in 1896. It involves precision, good reflexes, maintaining your firearms in good order, and a significant mental component.
I applaud anyone who's still willing to try.
