Exactly. TV sports it’s just entertainment. The millionaire players have never brought me a bag of groceries paid my mortgage or drove me to work… There is a whole world out there !!!
Spectator sports appeal to men's naturally competitive nature and camaraderie and divert them into an unhealthy, time wasting hobby that idolizes and makes other men rich. Those inclinations led men to build nations, explore new lands, and invent countless marvels in times past. Society will be so much better off as a whole if we shake these fleas!
This. And spending time with their families and teaching their kids. Its amazing how many families that did nothing but watch sports and play sports are now spending their days and nights actually talking to each other. Racing kids from activity to activity was a convenient and stressful way to let parents off from talking with their kids
I couldn't agree more. I used to love baseball and football. And I admit the first month with no sports was a little rough. But now that it's been over 3 months without pro sports, I find that I no longer care. I hope more people decide to call it quits.
As long as my gym is open, I don't need much else. Every sport/team I care about has started the virtual signaling nonsense, so I'm out on all of that for the foreseeable future (ever?).
It wasn't a huge part of my life, but it's a part I really haven't missed during all of this.
The "pandemic" showed the people a world without sports, and the people are going to realize they don't need them.
And a world without college campuses.
Yes! HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ARE MORE PATRIOTIC THAN COLLEGE STUDENTS: https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=15198
because they haven't been to college lol

I...... take responsibility.....
TV sports Is. irrelevant. It’s just entertainment. Take you kids to the park instead.
Just make sure the mayor isn't a Nazi who'll have you arrested for it.
Lol. BOOM!!!

no kids, but my wife and i have been getting a lot done around the house lately
That’s real. Watching TV sports is just entertainment to pass time.
This is going to turn into the next "learn to code", and I can't wait.

sports are just a way to keep white men occupied and their women watching another man do physical work (mostly black men)

Wow I’ve never thought of this! It’s an interesting concept for sure.
“Films, football, beer, and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult….”
just had to go there, huh?

I really, really hope this is true.

We have a mask order now, but our gym hasn't started requiring them yet. I'm very worried that will change shortly, but I'm enjoying it while I can.
