I was an avid fan until that. I have a friend that can’t comprehend why I am out. His point is Bubba Wallace is a joke and we didn’t watch for him anyways. My reply was I don’t care about him, I care about NASCAR calling its fans racists and allowing everyone to tee off on their fanbase as being hick racists and doing nothing about it. Well they did do something, they had a completely fake “unifying” moment for a garbage driver who was forcing tears out. Pathetic sport, I’ve been out since it was first reported.

Your friend would not see it as a joke when your friend realizes the real-world deaths and real-world injuries associated with the thoughtless bandwagoning by corporations.

Yes.

But it started with Andrew Murstein, who is Bubba's boss and who has some shady connections with the Clintons...that is, anti-American globalist crooks. I wouldn't be surprised if he bought RPM just to destroy NASCAR.

And Steve Phelps, who is willing to sell NASCAR out to whatever trend in popular culture he can jump on and milk for money.

They must both go.

I was actually considering getting into NASCAR as sort of a last resort. Then this happened. Oh well, I think stock car is pretty gay anyway.

Hockey and UFC it is.

That’s what I noticed. NASCAR was more than complicit to let media tee off on how the sport is viewed by racists and how the noose was just conformation of what all the ‘elites’ in the media always knew. Then things turned out to be a hoax, Bubba gave some interviews and still pushed racism, and fans are to be OK with this? I know there is emotional attachment to these sports and sport franchises, but they don’t care about you and only value your money. We are seeing in real-time being called to worst things and expected to take it so they can keep their profit margins on the up and up. Shameful really.

Exactly, fans are supposed to be okay with it. I am not okay with it, so I am no longer a fan. The shit that Jemele Hill said, based on a hoax no less, was egregious and NASCAR didn’t defend it one. NASCAR has finally caved to battered wife syndrome. If they accept that their fans are racist the beatings might stop. Spineless bastards.

100%

She’s the exact one I had in mind. If NASCAR has balls or cared about their fans, they would sue for defamation.

yukondave 8 points ago +9 / -1

Honestly I am not going to be a snowflake and need the love of NASCAR. They are a business and I am a customer. Its simple. Its when they cater to new audiences by doing the stupid that I have a problem. Just be a business already and concentrate on your customers.

DoYouBelieveInMAGA 5 points ago +5 / -0

Shameful but at least they've made it an easy decision. For all their talk about muh corporations, the left worships them. We generally don't. Kick em to the curb. Easy peasy

I have a friend that can’t comprehend why I am out.

This is the same problem with [INSERT THING CONSERVATIVES SHOULD WALK AWAY FROM]. Particularly the NFL. It's so easy to quit it entirely, yet Conservatives and normies who are also being insulted make up excuses not to do the right thing.

11
conryf 11 points ago +13 / -2

I'm guilty of this. I quit NFL for that one season. But damn, I love my broncos. Now though, if they do all the shit they are saying, its over. Sucks though cause I don't know where to go. But you're right, If a business of any kind treats you like shit, you can't go back or you're asking for it. That's part of how all this got so bad.

13
RichardKimball 13 points ago +14 / -1

The Broncos put out the tweet for BLM that said, "if you're not with us, you're against us."

7
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 7 points ago +8 / -1

So to the above poster, your choices are now 1) Be a cuck or 2) say fuck it. I quit the NFL and I'm getting ready to quit college because I know what's coming. You'll see how easy it is. I guarantee I used to watch more and talk about it more than 95% of posters on this board. I used to publish multiple mock drafts and get paid to write fantasy columns. I was pretty damn good, too, if I do say so myself. Used to rewatch games. It's a shit product nowadays, and they hate me. Not much to think about. I hope the league dies. Only way to get a better replacement.

No Way! Was this in the last BLm wave or the current one?

Dead_Sennacherib 11 points ago +12 / -1

So far, Baseball has been OK, but I suspect they'll cave soon as well.

9
CountryState_of_Mind 9 points ago +10 / -1

Yes, MLB will not be immune to the mob. Stupid Cleveland Indians are actually taking the name change crap seriously. Amongst that and other crap, I cannot imagine baseball left untouched.

NHL!

So competitive, you'll love it!

Easily the most entertaining pro sport to watch. The players are all tough as nails. Trash talking and fist fighting is a part of the game. Hardly any stoppages of play. The suspense is constant. The playoffs are as big as the NBA playoffs, but are more unpredictable than any other sport.

6
TheThreeSeashells 6 points ago +7 / -1

Sucks though cause I don't know where to go.

I walked away five years ago, but still wanted to watch some football as I enjoy the game. I turned to college football instead. The game is more entertaining even if their method for determining the championship is still problematic. Plus, GEOTUS received a rousing welcome at the BCS Championship game. Same for when he showed up to the Army/Navy game and the regular season Alabama/LSU game.

I'm preparing to quit watching CFB this year. College aged kids are the #1 target of Marxists. It's coming.

2
tombombadil 2 points ago +2 / -0

Then you’re helping fund leftist indoctrination centers (universities) who exploit their most athletically talented students for money.

2
CantStumpTheTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

But damn, I love my broncos.

Why though?

Like, really think about it; why do you love a random set of people who change yearly?

2
conryf 2 points ago +2 / -0

It kind of local pride, also tradition. I bonded with my dad as broncos fans, and have bonded with my son.

RandallSavage 9 points ago +10 / -1

NFL was very easy for me to quit. I hate my pathetic team as much as I hate the league, so I wasn’t giving up much. I am a Jaguars fan. Our players knelt for the National Anthem in London but stood for God Save the Queen. It doesn’t really get any worse than that. Although I suppose when they stand for this black anthem and then kneel for the National Anthem it probably will be about as low as you can get.

7
TheThreeSeashells 7 points ago +8 / -1

I'm sure they'll find a way to get lower. The morons always do.

5
RandallSavage 5 points ago +5 / -0

Absolutely. Hell we are 3 months away from the season even starting. At this rate Roger Goodell will be announcing that they will burn a flag before every game while they play the black anthem.

DoYouBelieveInMAGA 5 points ago +5 / -0

Lol I was a Redskins fan (gasp, I said Redskins). I fucking despise that shit garbage franchise.

4
women_for_trump 4 points ago +4 / -0

I was a lions fan. My life can only improve by not watching.

RichardKimball 2 points ago +2 / -0

Dunno how old you are, but when I was a kid, holy crap, the Cowboys-Redskins rivalry was insane. That was the 70s/80s, laughed like hell when Harvey Martin threw the funeral wreath in the Redskins locker room after a game. The Skins got their share of wins, too, which made it a great rivalry. Those days are long gone.

2
RichardKimball 2 points ago +2 / -0

I WAS a Cowboys fan, and Don Meredith was the QB when I started following them. Jerry Jones cured me of that addiction, cause I realized I wasn't an NFL fan, I was a Cowboys fan, and Tom Landry, Roger Staubach, and Drew Pearson weren't coming back.
Also got tired of four hour games with eleven minutes of action and two hours of commercials.

WinstonSmith1984 7 points ago +8 / -1

I really enjoyed football, but I haven't watched since the fucking dolphins took a knee in London

That's a bold plan. Cotton. Let's see how it works out for them

NASCAR has been struggling for years. They can't even fill the stands anymore.

I started losing interest when they dropped North Wilksboro and started going to these fuck boring cookie cutter tracks.

I just want to remind everyone that anywhere you live, in the lower 48 anyway, there is a short track near you that needs your support. They are all full Americana as it gets. A bunch of guys who work during the week and race on the weekends.

Apersonofinterest 5 points ago +6 / -1

I watch the Isle of Mann TT race every year because that shit is downright harrowing. Screaming through neighborhood streets at 150 mph on a motorcycle has me on the edge of the seat the whole time. Someone always dies in that race.

I also enjoy the off-road racing where the fans are just standing on the side of the track and occasionally one of those cars flips and wipes out 5 to 10 of them.

Also no Formula 1, multi millionaire kneelers

9
NotInFormation 9 points ago +10 / -1

Amusingly Lewis again asserted his privilege at Albon and, while he didn’t crash, he also didn’t get away with it.

Note who didn’t kneel.
